Since it is the time of the year when everyone tends to start a new leaf with exercising and healthier eating I am going to post a recipe.
Granola Bars -
1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup agave nectar 2 eggs 1/3 cup almond butter vanilla ( 1 tsp - 2 tsp ) 3/4 cup coconut 1 cup unsalted sunflower seeds 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds 1/3 cup ground flax Add in some chocolate chips or raisins or nuts of your choice ( 1/2 - 3/4 cup) 3 cups oats
Melt the butter and mix it with the agave nectar,eggs, almond butter and vanilla. Add the rest of the ingredients until evenly mixed. Line the pan with parchment paper. Bake in a 9 X 13 inch pan @ 350 for around 20-25 minutes. Don't cut into pieces until completely cooled or it will fall apart.

I really like these bars but beware that there are oats in it. Also, sugar is sugar, even if it is 'natural'.
