A. Handbalancing

Beginner: 30 sec hold x 5 sets; rest 1 min.

Intermediate: 5-10 heel taps x 2 sets; rest 1 min
5-10 toe taps x 2 sets; rest 1 min

Advanced: do the heel taps with a partner in the middle of the floor. It is exactly the same thing but your partner's hands are now the wall.

B. Regional Workout
Run 1000 meters
30 hspu for time (you may kip)
Row 1000 meters

Scaling for HSPU: either add plates so that you don't go as deep or do downward dogs.

    In hindsight I probably should have just knocked out those last 5 HSPU.

    Overall a pretty fun workout.

  4. Mike, we should race to see who can get to a single 15lb plate first. I'm not far off of where you are. I'm struggling with sets of 2-3 on two 15's and one skinny 10.

    12 HSPU with blue block
    18 HSPU with blue block and 151b plate
    One lime ice beer and a Bronx Burger from Earls (no bun)

  6. I can go lower, my 1 rep max is a single 15lb I think... but the volume today would have killed me even at 2. But a race, you say? You're on.

  10. 1000m run, 30 full pushups (although, they did get a little sloppy, but I pushed through), and 1000m row @ 12:37. I had to wait for about 20-30sec for a rowing machine, because they were all taken. I took full advantage of the break though lol

    My chest is already slightly sore, so by the end of the day, and tomorrow, I imagine I will be quite stiff. Love it!
