A.
Beginner Power Cleans
3,3,3,3; rest 2 mins

Advanced Clean and Jerk
go up to 1 rep max drop the weight 20lbs and then do 2 reps of 3 sets; rest 2 mins

B.
7 power clean (70% of 1RM)
10 box jump 20/24
10 burpee

5 sets; rest 4mins between sets

  1. I'm going to do the beginner cleans and I'm not keen on jerking the weight overhead today. Work up to a 1RM then drop 20 for the sets of 3?

  5. PR at 185lb power clean. Tried 195 but I wasnt being aggressive enough. Also day 4 in a row so I was getting tired. I'll eventually get used to more work. Then did 4 sets of 3 at 165 and they felt pretty easy.

    Did part b using 130lbs and nearly all sets were unbroken except for the last two. Well, the cleans were. I was 5+5 on the jumps and burpees for the most part. Chris was almost there on a 235 C&J. So close.
