  2. Hooray hooray to Verne. I hope you knock out the house, get the rock on the button, and always use the hammer.

we are so proud of you. I hope I'm as fit and hot as you when i'm your age..... which isn't that far away...i should probably work on that.

  3. Congratulations Verne (and the rest of the team)! You're making us fluxers super proud!

Plus, a workout named after you, wow that's super cool - as long as it doesn't have burpees.

    Broom hard and slide well.

  4. Any ideas on the "verne" workout?

renegade rows: the push-up element mimics the 'sweeping' of the broom; And the row element mimics the subtle pull that is executed in the hack, seconds before the rock is released.

    what else?

  5. Yay Verne!! Good luck!

What about some snatches, kinda like the skip holding out the broom for the call? And squats, there is a lot of squating in curling or maybe walking lunges kinda like when u throw the rock... mmm is seeming kinda like an icky workout....

  7. Thanks everyone for your encouragement, especially Joey. As for the workout, core, core, core for balance and anything that increases leg drive. Darci has told me how well all of you are doing so I am quite jealous as I am now trying to get back into it. I will bring my gold medal down one of these days.
